During my stay, I was thrilled to find that the hotel was just a short walk from the stunning Glasgow Botanic Gardens and the lively Ashton Lane, making it perfect for weekend explorations. plus, the breakfast was amazing with a wide continental selection that fueled my day of adventure.

The vibe here is great, especially with the cozy lounge area and the lovely outdoor seating. I really enjoyed unwinding at the spacious pool and soaking in the hot tub during my stay. The breakfast could use a little more variety, but overall, I had a fantastic experience. 😊

Request a room on a lower floor to avoid the numerous stairs, especially if you have heavy luggage.

the alfred hotel is super cozy with nice lil quirky items everywhere. our breakfast was beaut with fresh linen n flowers on the tables. the staff were real chill, and the wi-fi worked in our room which was cool. also, props for the clean bathroom and the slippers n bathrobe vibe was nice, makes u feel comfy.

only thing was the non-ensuite rooms are kinda annoying n there wasn't much pressure in the shower.

i recently celebrated an anniversary and stayed here. the room was on the top floor, offering stunning views of the hills beyond glasgow, which truly made the experience special. breakfast was a delightful spread with freshly baked croissants and a variety of organic juices, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

the shower had inconsistent water temperature.

The breakfast offered a delightful assortment of local vegetables, and the staff's friendliness made a significant impact. the lack of an en suite bathroom in the room was a notable inconvenience for a senior traveler. The WiFi on the top floor was also poor, and the room I stayed in required better sound insulation to ensure a more peaceful night’s sleep.

we stayed at alfred and really enjoyed the view from our top-floor room. it was only a short walk to the west end, which was perfect. the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The room was super spacious and stylish, featuring a flat-screen TV, plush towels, and a shower with good pressure. The bathroom had body soap and a hairdryer. Breakfast had a decent selection, especially the pastries, and the dining area was decorated nicely with flowers. Great location near good cafes and the university. Loved the quirky decor!

Comfortable bed and decent free wi-fi. Breakfast wasn't great and coffee was weak.
